service and saving the planet. Topics covered included the advantages
of the thin-client model versus a standard PC network, hardware
considerations, and Open Source applications in education. In addition,
the New Covenant Schools of Bedford experience using Linux to provide
their computing infrastructure was discussed, including a demonstration
of the system used in this school.
